1 Thessalonians 5:11

Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.

Awakened one night from a dream that God had given me. I got up, got out my journal and started to write down everything the Lord had shown me in my dream. The one thing that really stuck out to me was the card that I handed to another sister that had on it, "Sisters Building Sisters", founder LaTonia Harrell.  After I wrote down the name and a few other things the Lord had shown me. I woke up my husband and said, "Confirmation, confirmation!"  He was like, "Say it again..."  I said, "Baby, remember when I told you that I feel like my calling is to deal with women and young adults; to uplift, encourage and motivate them to live the life that God has planned for them?  Well, God confirmed it tonight.  My husband said, "Baby, whatever the Lord has called you to do, I support you 100 percent!" Then he went back to sleep.

Of course, I wrestled with the dream and the vision for awhile. One thing for sure is that God has a way of getting your attention. Shortly after the dream I started meeting a number of women and teenagers who just needed to talk and pray. I could be in the grocery store or Wal-Mart and just walk past a lady and say "hi".  She would reply and from there on it became a 15-20 minute conversation.  My son Joshua would always say, "Momma, why everybody always tell you what they are going through, like you have counselor on your forehead?"  I said, "Josh, it's called the anointing that God placed on me and he has given me a gift that I can share with others."

After so many times of running into women and teenagers and having 15-20 minute meet-ups in the stores, as well as God giving me several more dreams, I surrendered my all. I said, "Lord, have your way. Lead and guide me; open up doors and make ways for this to reach every woman and teenager you want it to reach." That's when I received an e-mail from someone I didn't know. At the bottom of the e-mail it read, "If you would like to spread a word, start your own website today.” Oh my goodness!  I clicked onto the link and there it was, ladies, plain and simple, right in my face:  A way to start a website.

Tears rolled down my eyes. I was like, "Lord, you are too much!" That's how the website was started, from an e-mail from someone that I didn't know that said, “Hi, from Africa.” As of May 2012, over 775,849 people  have viewed the site and many have given their lives to the Lord. Those already saved have been inspired and encouraged to never give up and to keep living the life that God has planned for them.

God is something else. He really shows up and out. He blows my mind all the time. So please, pull out your journals and listen for that calm voice. Write down everything the Lord has shown or spoke to you, and get busy on your calling if you are not already. For those that have a ministry, stay encouraged and continue to hold onto God's unchanging hands. I know it gets rough and tough at times, and you feel like all your hope is gone, but God will provide and make ways. Be obedient at all times to His word and better days are ahead. I love each and every one of you. Thanks for allowing me to be a part of your life.
